ConfigurationIn order for your GPRS service to work properly it requires that your phone is configured with the correct Access Point Name (APN) settings. Most phones that a mobile operator sells are pre-configured with the appropriate APN settings associated with their GPRS service. However, this is not always the case as some mobile operators do not correctly configure their phones or you may have bought a generic phone, not configured with any specific mobile operator’s information. If you do not know what your APN settings are, please contact your mobile operator and ask them for their APN settings. Often they will be able to SMS these settings for you. APN settings are usually within your Web settings, or Network settings on your mobile phone. If you are unable to find them please refer to your mobile phone user manual. |
